The Company policy on health and safety provides an essential basis toward a final common goal - elimination of poor health and injuries due to the job related causes.

Our safety target in 2008 was to have less than 0.10 disabling injuries per 100 employee. We surpassed this goal by recording zero disabling injuries (in 8.7 million person-hours) for the first time in our history – an outstanding achievement for any mining and processing company.
